Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, coupled with expertise in tradeshow management, construction, project management, and team leadership. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of tradeshows and showroom setups, from conception to completion, while ensuring exceptional quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to timelines and budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on showroom setups, tradeshow management, construction, and project management.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability; able to work independently and take initiative.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and proactive — a go-getter who drives tasks forward without waiting for direction.
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new products, tools, processes, and environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to lead tasks in a dynamic, fast-changing setting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites, as well as national and international tradeshows.
- Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support team and project needs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of tradeshow participation, including registration, budgeting, hiring contractors, product and service procurement, booth setup, and logistics.
- Select and hire contractors and subcontractors based on project requirements and budget constraints.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of tradeshow booth setups.
- Constantly look for new and better methods, solutions, products and vendors that will result in enhanced booth appearance.
- Continuously explore innovative methods, solutions, products, and vendors to enhance the presentation of Anatolia booths, while prioritizing ease of setup and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of showrooms and booth installers.
- Coordinate the full setup of the Anatolia and customer showrooms, including design, construction, arranging furniture, fixtures, and product displays to create visually appealing and functional spaces.
- Coordinate showroom updates and refreshes to coincide with new product launches, ensuring that the showroom always reflects the latest offerings.
